PGL Barton hall residential Trip 2024

Monday 29th April
Year 5 PGL 2024. And they're off!
Year 5 have all arrived safely at PGL. We are all moved into our rooms, had a site tour and are about to have dinner. The fun has begun.
Tuesday 30th April
A good night’s sleep has been followed by a hearty breakfast. Now onto our morning activities: aeroball, vertical challenge, abseiling and zip wire. Look out for the photos later.
Despite a good dose of British weather, the children have had a day full of adventure! They have fully demonstrated the skill of resilience. Everyone is looking forward to our silent disco this evening, where we will be practising our sun dance in preparation for swimming tomorrow.

Wednesday 1st May
The sun has finally come out to join us to celebrate two birthdays today! What a way to celebrate- a pool party!
Another jam-packed day in Devon. Heading down to the campfire- hope the weather stays as nice as it’s been all day.
Thursday 2nd May
Yesterday finished on a sweet note, with toasted marshmallows and birthday Haribo at the campfire. While it rained all night leaving large puddles and muddy paths, the sun has come out to visit us again for our days activities.
The sun stayed with us for the whole of our final full day, where many children faced their fears and challenged themselves. They are all snuggled up for the night and looking forward to telling you about their adventures tomorrow.
Friday 3rd May
The coaches have just left Sedgemoor Services. Maps says journey time is 1 hour 18 mins but will be slightly longer due to the coaches. ETA approximately 5.15pm.
